As an important theme in scripture the Bible is described as God's word and Jesus himself within the text is also referred to as "The Word". Here are some encouraging key verses from God's word.
Exodus 15:2 The Lord gives me strength and protects me. He has saved me. He is my God, I will praise him. He is my father’s God, and I will honor him.
2 Samuel 22:31 “God’s way is perfect. The Lord’s word doesn’t have any flaws. He protects like a shield all who go to him for safety. Psalm 5:11 But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you.
Psalm 12:7 You, Lord, will keep the needy safe and will protect us forever from the wicked, Psalm 25:21 May integrity and uprightness protect me, because my hope, Lord, is in you. Psalm 40:11 Do not withhold your mercy from me, Lord; may your love and faithfulness always protect me. Psalm 82:3 Stand up for the weak and for children whose fathers have died. Protect the rights of people who are poor or treated badly.
Psalm 116:6 The Lord protects the unwary; when I was brought low, he saved me.

Proverbs 2:8 for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones. Proverbs 2:11 Discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you. Proverbs 4:6 Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you.
Proverbs 14:3 A fool’s mouth lashes out with pride, but the lips of the wise protect them. John 17:11 Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one.
John 17:15 My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. 1 Corinthians 13:6,7 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
