As an important theme in scripture the Bible is described as God's word and Jesus himself within the text is also referred to as "The Word". Here are some encouraging key verses from God's word.
Job 22:21 "Submit to God and be at peace with him; in this way prosperity will come to you. Psalm 34:14 Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.
Psalm 119:165 Great peace have they who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble.
Proverbs 14:30 A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones.
Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 32:17 The fruit of righteousness will be peace; the effect of righteousness will be quietness and confidence forever.
