As a central theme in scripture the Bible has some great encouragement and reminders of in what and whom we should believe. Here are some key verses.
Proverbs 15:14 The simple believe anything, but the prudent give thought to their steps.
Isaiah 43:10 ‘You are my witnesses,’ declares the Lord, ‘and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me.
Mark 16:16 Whoever believes and is baptised will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. John 12:44 Then Jesus cried out, ‘Whoever believes in me does not believe in me only, but in the one who sent me.

Acts 10:43 All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.
1 Thessalonians 4:14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.
1 Peter 1:8 Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy,
